It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 1/3/11

What a special treat I have for you today!  It's a MONSTER POST!  This means that I just spent the most luxurious moments away from work, children's school and homework, pressing scheduling responsibilities, and the omnipresent need for clean underwear (which is TOTALLY overrated, mind you) and read for Christmas Break!  I did other stuff, too, like backed into a Land Cruiser and crunched my new Kia Sedona, bought a Cricut for my self daughter for Christmas and have been having loads of fun with it helping her connect with her inner creativity, but mostly I read.

Here's what I read (in no particular order because I don't remember):

JaneThe Radleys: A NovelAcross the UniverseWhen We Were Strangers: A NovelThe Book of Tomorrow: A NovelThe Girl Who Became a BeatleThe Charlatan's Boy: A NovelWither (The Chemical Garden Trilogy)Awakened (House of Night)Hell's Horizon (The City)

Books I will be reviewing this week:

Awakened (House of Night)
The Radley's
Hell's Horizon

At this moment I am reading:

Tandem: A Novel[THE CONFESSION]The Confession By Grisham, John(Author)Hardcover On 26 Oct 2010)

This is the portion of my post where I am supposed to list all the books I read in 2010.  In all honesty, I didn't know I was supposed to keep track. The best I could do was go through my Goodreads list of books and look at the holes where I didn't post there.  Rather than cross-referencing Amazon, Goodreads and Amusing Reviews, let's just call it year and I'll go wash some underwear for members of my family partial to wearing that particular item of clothing.

...and a happy new year!

Do you mark everything as read in Goodreads? Or do you only use it for reviews?

Clean underwear, phshaw... that's what I say. And then I make my husband go do laundry. (I have a Dave... he is handy like that).

Here is to 2011!

I was just trying to organize by GoodReads shelves. It was my first year (actually months) to do some tracking of my books on GoodReads. I loved your comment "let's just call it a year. .. "
I added a shelf 2011 and that was as organized as I could get. Kept losing focus and reserving books at the library from my to read list. Happy New Year!

How do you organize shelves in goodreads? Mine are all just in a row? THANKS.

Unless I am misunderstanding what you mean by shelving.

Wow, you read some great-looking books! And a lot of them, too! I loved Across the Universe, I've got Wither to read this week, and I'd really like to read The Charlatan's Boy. Thanks for stopping by my Mailbox! Happy reading!

I'm not sure if I'm more impressed by the number of books read or the lack of underwear!
Sounds like a great week...mine, not nearly as impressive:
