Blog Hop Friday (8/6)

It's blog hop day and I'm just going to say that I am buried in books right now.  All I want to do is read, read, read and my children keep wanting to be fed, fed, fed.  They also want clean clothes and apparently, I'm supposed to be reading to my pre-schooler, too. How sad is that?  He's begging me to read to him.  I haven't taught him how to read and he's entering kindergarten in three weeks.

I suck.

Now I'm going to go turn on my "Train" CD low and curl up with a book.

Someone save me from myself.

Psst.  If you want to find others with my mental illness, click on the image above.

Please enter my giveaways in the right margin.  It's embarrassing to have such low entrants.

Pretty please?

Hey, thanks so much for stopping my The Blue Bookcase! I love your blog. You seem to have a great personality. You remind me a lot of my mom whom I am really close to.
Keep up the great blogging!

Don't kids learn how to read in school? Don't tell me the parents are expected to teach them how to read before they start Kindergarten! That's nuts!!!

Stopping by from the book blogger hop.

I taught one son before he started school and I left one son alone; they both ended up pretty much the same by first grade.

I am now a follower. I hope you will stop by my blog. www.readerbuzz.blogspot.com

Hopping by. Just wanted to let you know my preschooler can't read yet and he starts kindergarten in a few weeks as well. His older brother went into kindergarten reading, but I just figured the two develop differently because I remember most of the kids in oldest kindergarten's class couldn't read. So don't feel bad. :)

I'm a reading in silence kind of girl, but I do like Train.

Have a great weekend.

I came across your blog through the blog hop.
I can definitely related with your troubles with finding time to read. I have a huge pile of books I'm dying to read but my kids keep demanding to be taken care of so I have to be a responsible parent and take care of them instead *sigh*
Now I'm off to check out the rest of your blog
