Books have been slow in coming since Hurricane Sandy ran through New York. Right after Christmas, things picked up. Here are a few books I've added to my shelves - some solicited, others not. Some I'm very excited to read!

Here are a few:

On my Kindle, I bought or was sent:

(Because I love my chickens!)

I know it's a modge podge. I haven't been good at keeping records during December and the first of January. I think I'm really waiting for another book to really WOW me. I've hit a dry spell. Any suggestions?

What did you read this week or add to your collection?

I think eclectic is a better word for your haul. I have Altered on my pile as well. That one looks interesting. I need to get Fifty Cents and a Dream. I saw some partial art at a publisher preview last spring, and thought it was fabulous!

Love your blog colors and name! I need to jazz my pages up a bit and explore how to add some gadgets and such. Thanks for stopping by my STS.

I really enjoyed 11/22/63, and a few other books in your stack look promising.

One More River by Glickman

The Sleepwalkers by Grossman

The King of Lies by Hart (a kind of old one)

Down River by Hart(a kind of old one)

Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand

22 Britannia Road by Hodgkinson
